New Zealand supermarkets have a much greater range of bulk goods you purchase by weight, including nuts, breakfast cereals, confectionary, grains and legumes. I visit supermarkets just for fun when I travel!

I love checking out local produce when travelling – I found these in Wellington while on a job for Unilever. I learned these should be scrubbed first then boiled, steamed or baked and are rich in carotenoid and anthocyanin antioxidants, and provide useful amounts of vitamin A, vitamin B6, potassium and fibre.

While on a work trip to New Zealand for Unilever Australasia I always visit a supermarket – yoghurt in a carton caught my attention as a different form of packaging, and the Manuka honey ingredient was a common local flavour.
